There is this funny thing that happened to me a few days ago.
I have three ways of checking the time when I wake up. One is the digital clock that I have placed in the gap between the racks and the top of my table. Since the table is located right beside my bed and I just have to be on my right side to directly see the time, it is my primary way to see the time. The second one is the smartwatch that I wear. And the third, of course, is my smartphone that I keep sometimes beside my pillow and sometimes on top of the table. On that day it was on the table.
So, I woke up in the morning and saw the time on my digital clock. It said 9 am. Okay. So, I have to open my shop and be there at least till 11 am or 11:15 am. So, I wake up at 10 am and do my thing (poop), brush, shower, eat and then go to my shop. Since it said 9 am I thought I have one more hour and slept again. I got up again and saw the time was 10:15. Shit! I was already late and I take a lot of time to poop (around 20 mins), so I had to do everything quickly.
I went to the bathroom, pooped, brushed, and came back as quickly as possible. It was already around 10:40 when I came out of the bathroom. I take shower one floor below in my dad’s room’s bathroom so I hurried and when I went in the room, I saw my dad was chilling and using his smartphone. I thought that it already is so late so he should have gone to open the shop (we have two shops) already. Anyway, I was very late so did not think much and went to shower. I finished quickly, went out, put on my boxers, and sat to eat. I ate less and more quickly.
I went to the room after that and as soon as I entered I checked my phone to see the time. I had taken out my watch before I went to poop because that is what I do almost every time. Now, when I checked the time on my phone, it said 10 am. What?! I went over and checked my digital clock. 11 am. Shit! Yes, someone had added an extra hour to my clock and that was the reason why my dad was chilling because it was not yet time.
Anyway, I laughed it off and used my phone for a bit and ended up opening the shop very early than I usually do.
